Who We Are
Our customers are the key to our success. Our products are designed to meet the needs of customers, our hours are set to meet the needs of customers and our employees are hired to meet the needs of customers. High-quality customer service is the primary goal of this bank.
The next most important key to our success is the employee. Without motivated, dedicated and responsible employees, it would be impossible for the bank to render high-quality customer service. This bank is and will be a responsible employer dedicated to the well being of its employees. A second mission of this bank is to operate the bank in ways that maximize the positive aspects of bank employment. All bank employees will be treated with dignity and respect. All will be given equal opportunity and a fair wage regardless of race, color, sex, age or physical condition.
Our Business Model Is The Key To Our Success
Clearly, the bank is in business to make a profit for its shareholders. A third mission of this bank is to maximize its sustainable earnings. That is, we want to maximize the total earnings of the bank over the long term. When necessary, we will sacrifice short-term earnings for higher profits in the future, but only when we are sure that the short-term sacrifices are worth the long-term gains.
This bank is a responsible citizen and a business leader of our community. The bank takes its citizenship duties seriously. We will not knowingly take actions that are adverse to the best interests of our community, its businesses (including those in deprived neighborhoods), or its families (including low-income families). We will not make profits at the expense of our citizenship responsibilities.
Serving You Since 1978
Valley Bank’s primary mission has been to serve the banking needs of Roswell as well as Chaves County, and this continues to be the primary driving force behind the bank today. Valley Bank is an independent bank and fully intends to remain independent. The bank has built a reputation of conservative soundness that has served it well. Through the years our bank has enjoyed higher quality leadership and staff than its competitors, and this has helped the bank to increase its share of the local banking market
In October 1985 Valley Bank opened its North branch at the intersection of Main Street and Country Club Road and then in October 1998 established a branch in Dexter to provide the people of Dexter and Hagerman with a local bank.
